Welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up! I am excited to say that this week I actually left my house and travelled a little distance to sit my IELTS! It’s an English proficiency test I need to score good on for my job applications coming up in May (YIKES!). I did take the opportunity to visit some bookstores, and I was pretty impressed by my self-control when I BOUGHT NOTHING! Yes, people, this book blogger with toppling TBRs restrained herself from impulse-buying more books!
My bragging aside, I am exhausted after spending just two days outside! Is anyone else finding themselves in the same dilemma? You leave the house for a few hours and you need to lie down your exhausted body on that comfy, soft bed. Ha ha!
For this week’s wrap-up, I’m going to be brief because I did not really have the time to indulge myself on the amazing blog posts out there. But here we are and I hope you guys enjoy these great posts!
Reviews
I read literally two reviews this whole week! How is that possible?
- Celina @ Venus in Books reviews Milk Fed by Melissa Broder
- Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl reviews an ARC of Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle
Discussions
I’m starting to think I gravitate towards discussion posts because I’ve got five great posts I discovered this week!
- Zaneta @ I’m Fully Booked questions should reviewers charge for their reviews
- Sammy @ We Write At Dawn addresses the blogging controversy
- Soffi @ A Book. A Thought. launches The Definitive Book Blogger List (absolute genius idea!)
- Amy @ A Fangirl’s Opinion shares her list of the funniest books and characters
- Abby @ Beyond The Read shares resources to #StopAsianHate + 2021 YA releases by AAPI authors
Bookstagram
I get these epiphanies at random throughout the week. This week’s random epiphany is that Bookstagram is my happy place. Yes, it can get a bit toxic with the picture perfect shots and the consumerism, but I get genuine joy from posting a pic and waiting for people to start commenting to my QOTDs. I guess it’s about mindset and how you approach certain things. I remember being obsessed with “perfect” shots and the engagement, but I guess I’ve grown a bit since then?

Lastly, this week on Bibliosini…
For this week’s Top Ten Tuesday, I shared my list of places in books I’d love to live in.
This week’s book review is on a April 1st release, Half the World Away by Rebecca Banks.
It’s been a hot minute since my last Let’s Talk Bookish post but I’m back and this week I discussed putting off books I actually want to read.
Sunday Sum-Up is all about coming together in this blogosphere community, so don’t be shy to leave a comment below. Let’s get talking!
