Happy Sunday, folks! Welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up! How has your week been?
Mine was a bit festive, very exciting and chock-full of Blood and Ash goodness thanks to The Crown of Gilded Bones releasing next week!
Most of my week revolved around our New Year or “Avurudu”, so I got to eat some homemade traditional food and follow along with the traditional rituals based on auspicious timings. We kept the celebrations small and wholesome, very mindful of the pandemic still going on.
On more bookish news, I started my re-read of From Blood and Ash and I’m on Chapter 11 right now. I was so paranoid of finishing my re-reads before TCOGB comes out so I deliberately started late. At this point, I’ll probably still be on AKOFAF by the time April 20th rolls around, but that’s fine with me! Also, let me know if any of you are joining in on the re-reading marathon! The FBAA community is gobsmackingly huge!
Without further ado, lemme share all the wonderful content I read/discovered this week:
Reviews
- Dedra @ A Book Wanderer reviews We Are Not Free by Traci Chee
- Ellie @ Curiosity Killed the Bookworm reviews an ARC of Hummingbird Salamander by Jeff Vandermeer
- Kayla @ Books and Blends reviews an ARC of The Insiders by Tijan
- Louise @ Lou’s Book Stuff reviews Mirrorland by Carole Johnston
- Haley @ Stuck In The Stacks reviews The Mary Shelley Club by Goldy Moldavsky

Lastly, this week on Bibliosini…
I listed book titles that sound like they could be Crayola crayon colours.
I reviewed an eARC of Max and the Spice Thieves by John Peragine, releasing on 20th April 2021.
I ranted/discussed in great detail (LOL!) what makes me pick up a book.
Sunday Sum-Up is all about sharing content you love and supporting each other, so feel free to start a conversation in the comments below!

It sounds like your new year celebration was fun and yummy😁 Hope you have a good week!
😅 I have definitely been the paranoid type to start a readathon late so I didn’t finish my rereads before a book comes out. I haven’t read From Blood and Ash yet, but I know a few friends are currently reading/rereading at the moment! Happy New Year, and hope you have a lovely week!
Thank you so much, Sophia! You should definitely give it a try! I literally push that book on anyone who even looks at me! 😂
