Since I took a tiny step back from blogging last month, I have been having trouble getting back to composing posts that aren’t books reviews or weekly wrap-ups. Then I remember that the lovely Jan @ The Doodlecrafter tagged me to take part in The Mystery Blogger Award back in May and voila! Here were are!
Thank you so much for this, Jan! I am so honoured that you tagged me for this! You guys should check out her beautiful blog because she deserves more love!

3 Things About Me
1. My birthday is on March 20th and that makes me a Pisces! If you’re a fellow Pisces, let me know in the comments below!
2. I taught myself to crochet. So far, I crocheted a cute little basket for myself and my current project is a throw blanket, which I have been working on for months now!
3. I lived in Malaysia for five years to finish my MBBS. I lived the first two years in Selangor and the next three in Johor Bahru. I even got to spend six months in Melbourne for a few clinical postings! Absolutely loved it too!
My Best Post
I went with which post got the most views, so here we are! I remember being very excited about writing this post too because I absolutely loved this book and I got to work with the author on this release day event!
My Answers To Jan’s Questions
1. Would you rather explore the ocean depths or explore space?
Can I say neither? Haha! Oceans have terrified me since I was kid. I just cannot stop thinking about the possibility of drowning or sea monsters. I am equally terrified of the huge fish that I can encounter. Honestly, I cannot even handle going to an aquarium because I am terrified of being surrounded by all that water.
2. If you could talk with an author for a day, who would you choose?
This is a really hard one because I am a firm believer of “never meet your heroes”. But I guess I would risk it to spend a day with Jennifer L. Armentrout! I am on her Facebook spoiler groups and she genuinely seems like a great person, so I am willing to risk it for her.
3. What’s a food you never get tired of eating?
Hmmm, I choose bacon and eggs with toast. My mom made it for us since we were kids and I still prefer her version of it!
4. If you were a book character archetype, what would you be?
I actually looked this up and used this MasterClass article for reference! Based on this, I feel like I would be either The Lover or The Explorer.
5. Are you scared of bugs?
Hell yes! I am especially afraid of cockroaches! I would rather leave the house than try to scare a humungous flying cockroach. That’s how afraid of these big suckers. Usually I get someone else to do the dirty work for me. LOL!
I absolutely loved answering those questions! Definitely got me thinking a lot and loads of fun to type them all out! Thanks a lot, Jan!

Thanks for nominating me! The author question is interesting – off the top of the head I’m tempted to say Jane Austen!
OMG that’s a good pick! Totally would love a day with her myself too!
Loved reading your answers! Thansk for the tag!
Thank you and no worries, Evelyn! 😀
I loved reading your answers! You don’t like oceans?? Haha I love them, even though I can’t swim an inch and will probably drown too😅😅 I haven’t read the from blood and ash series, although it is on my tbr!
Awww thank you! And trust me, even going to the beach gets me a bit jittery at times! LOL! And yep, I suck at swimming too!
thank you for tagging me!! and oh wow I really want to learn how to crochet, it seems like such a fun and cool skill!!
No worries! 😀 I taught myself using YouTube tutorials! I highly recommend it!!!
Thanks for the nomination😁 I agree with you about the sea and space. I’m quite happy here on the ground, thank you!
LOL! Glad I’m not the only one!!!
Great answers, Hasini, my fellow-zodiac-mate (what do you call people who share the same sign???)! I also taught myself to crotchet and filled my mum’s house with crotchet pumpkins for Halloween 🙂 Your answer to the ocean question was so vivid – I have thalassophobia- and could totally relate!
Malaysia is one of the countries on my bucket list…
Oooooh, let’s be Pisces buddies! Haha! I’m almost done with a throw blanket right now! I gotta wait for some more yarn to get here haha! And YES! That’s the word!!! I totally recommend Malaysia BTW! But so many places to see there!
