Happy Sunday, readers! Welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up!
When I thought I couldn’t handle the cold, sunny summer days of Melbourne, now I am shivering through cold, rainy summer days! It is a good thing I have been indoors because with the sharp cold and the rising COVID-19 numbers, I might not have lasted till my flight tomorrow. LOL!
In other news, I am finally relocating to Queensland on Monday, where I will be finally working an adult job! I am nervous at the prospect of travelling somewhere that has no one I know or am bonded to by family, but I am also pretty excited at this next stage in my life. My new job is sure to stress me out too when I start in two weeks, so I have been relaxing as much as I could with my cousins in Melbourne.
Apparently, relaxing is the perfect motivator for me to pick up and read my books for two to three hours in a row! I managed to finish That Kind of Guy by Stephanie Archer as well a novella, Servant Mage by Kate Elliott. I am now reading Clean Air by Sarah Blake, an intriguing mix of dystopia and mystery/thriller!
What have you been reading this week? And what are your plans for the new year?
