Happy Sunday, folks! And welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up! I am always looking forward to Sundays since my mom stays home full day! That means I get her for a full 24 hours of whatever we feel like doing! Today it was shopping, meaning groceries and a random visit to the small local bookstore!
Don’t you miss the days when walking into a bookstore was a normal, mundane experience (which I absolutely loved!)? But since the pandemic started, bookstore visits are elevated to a whole other level! Even if they’ve got the tiniest collection of books, I am just excited to touch them. I feel like I am approaching a creeper-level of obsessive!
Anyway, how’s everyone reading been? I finished reading two books this week: one from my physical TBR and an e-ARC. I had such a wholesome, pleasant read with Olive Kittredge by Elizabeth Strout. Whereas Firebreak by Nicole Kornher-Stace just raised my blood pressure sky high with all the action, plot twists and explosions!
Now that we’ve done our weekly life catch-ups, lets catch up on all things blogging with our Sunday Sum-Up!

I haven’t been in a bookstore since the pandemic started and I really miss it! Hope you have a good week😁
Exactly! Cant believe it’s been so long! 😂 Hope you have good week too! 😁
Thanks for the shoutout! And for the list of other blogs to go check out! I understand missing book stores. I work in one and Covid just keeps shutting it down and letting it open again for a little bit before shutting down again. I miss being able to just enjoy bookstores whenever we want. The serotonin boost s just soooo good! – Amber
You’re welcome, Amber! And IKR! I miss that serotonin boost so bad! 😅
Thank you so much for sharing my review!! And yes, I miss bookstores sooooo much! I haven’t been to one since before the pandemic hit. But I’ve just recently become fully vaccinated so I’ll be venturing back soon. Yay!!!
Hope your bookstore visit goes like a dream! 😁💛
