Happy Sunday and welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up!
This week felt unbearably slow, or I may be craving some movement and outdoorsy action since lockdown lifted. I had to leave the house to get a small procedure done on a teeny tiny sebaceous cyst that has been hanging around for a few months LOL! But that was all the outdoor action I got.
I finally finished reading A Shadow in the Ember and I am in a state of shock over that cliffhanger ending! I need either The War of Two Queens or the second ASITE book right now! My next read is an eARC I just received and am I excited about: Dark Tourist: Essays by Hasanthika Sirisena. Despite my slow reading and slow life pace right now, I managed to get quite a few blog posts set up for the coming days, so yay!
And that’s my wrap-up of the week! Hope you guys have fun with the content I loved reading and have a great week ahead!
- Celia @ Celia’s Books reviews Trashlands by Alison Stine
- Tammy @ Books, Bones & Buffy reviews The Workshop of Filthy Creatures by Richard Gadz
- Chelsea @ Your Bookish Friend reviews Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr
- Dini @ dinipandareads. reviews Skin of the Sea by Natasha Bowen
- Jo @ Book Lovers Blog reviews an audiobook of Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
- Marie @ Drizzle & Hurricane Books gives some tips on how to take care of your mental health as a content creator
- Sarah @ Girl on Books recommends new releases to read in November based on your Zodiac sign
- Dedra @ A Book Wanderer recommends books (by genre) I would hand to someone who claims to not like reading
- Lindsey @ Lindsey Reads lists a few books to read if you loved these TV shows
- Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense shares ten poetry books & novels in verse for those unsure if the medium is for them
Fizz @ fizzyreads
I was tagged to do the Quick Fire Fantasy Tag!
I reviewed my first buddy read, The Midnight Library by Matt Haig!
I dished out 5 tips for when a blog post doesn’t do well!
And that’s another Sunday Sum-Up done! I hope you guys have a great week ahead!

Happy reading, Dedra! ❤
Thanks for the shoutout!
And OMG, I also just finished ASITE and I need more immediately too! I am so confused though, so I’m thinking I’ll need to re-read before the next book to remedy that 😀
I’m thinking of maybe picking up TCOGB too!!! I feel like I’ll be able to understand the story even better with what I learned in ASITE!!!
Thanks for sharing my review, Hasini! 😊 I totally get you when you say the week felt like it went by slowly. I feel like things are moving so slowly but at the same time days are passing in a blur? How does this happen? 😂 I hope you have a great week ahead!
OMG that’s exactly it! I have no idea why or how this is happening but it does? Hahah! Thanks, Dini!
