Sunday Sum-Up: Research Posters, Sick Pets & Some Slow Reading

Happy Sunday and welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up!

This week started out slow and lazy with me reading A Shadow in the Ember (AKA one of my most anticipated reads this year!) and having a great time buddy reading The Midnight Library. I even visited a bookstore and held true to my book buying ban, which my wallet was extremely happy about.

Then the last bits of the week were bit of a mess when one of our dogs, who is prone to epileptic seizures, developed an episode, and I struggled to finish my research poster that’s due on Monday. Since I procrastinated finishing it off for a while I finished it a bit later than I thought (yesterday!) and I am hoping my mentor doesn’t ask me to make many edits before I send it in later today!

All I want to do for the rest of what’s left of this week right now is curl up with my copy of ASITE and spend some hours on good ol’ escapism! How was your week so far, readers? Hope you didn’t have as much drama as I did!
