A Christmas Sunday Sum-Up!

A Christmas Sunday Sum-Up!

Happy Sunday, readers, and Merry Christmas! 🎄 Welcome to a long-due Sunday Sum-Up!

I have been pretty quiet the past few days since I moved to Melbourne to spend time with my extended family before I start work in Queensland. With all the packing, moving and all the work that goes into international travel these days, I haven’t really committed much to my blogging and Instagram.

I even had a tech mishap and needed to get my hands on a new phone, which caused me a great deal of anxiety since the last time I actually bought myself a phone was around six years back!

But otherwise it has been a pretty exciting experience so far. I am still adjusting to cold summer days after growing up in a tropical island for most of my life. I have been working out again since I settled. And now I am finding myself working on more and more adult tasks, like renting a house/apartment, bank stuff and everything else that happens in between.

Though I haven’t had much time to read I still managed to finish reading and review Omens of Death by Nicholas Rhea. I have also made some progress in reading The Sword of Kaigen by M.L. Wang as well as a few chapters of Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell.

Though I don’t have really any Christmassy updates this week, I am still feeling the Christmas spirit in my aunt’s neighbourhood. Our Christmas was made up of a long wait for a PCR test, some amazing biryani for lunch, and a nighttime movie: Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings! It was a great day!

And that’s Christmas on my end! I hope everyone had a great Christmas day and are still enjoying their holidays! Let me know what was the best thing that happened to you this Christmas in the comments below!

I posted two installments of my new January 2022 Book Releases: adult romance books and young adult romance books!

I had two book reviews up since my last Sunday Sum-Up: The Push by Ashley Audrain and Omens of Death by Nicholas Rhea!

I discussed my thoughts on illustrations in books (spoiler alert: I love them!)!
