Sunday Sum-Up: Returning From a Brief Unannounced Hiatus!

Happy Sunday, readers! Welcome to this week’s installment of Sunday Sum-Up!

I am not sure if that many people noticed but I took a week-long hiatus with no announcement. I finally left my house and quiet town to stay a week or so in the city and I loved it! I met all the friends and family I wanted to, and I also indulged in a little shopping! Not only was this a great detox from my normal routine but also a great leap out of my comfort zone after almost a year of staying at home!

Since I filled my days with meals out, sleepovers and family functions, I didn’t get a chance to properly invest a few hours into my reading. Right now I am finishing up my eARC of Dark Tourist: Essays by Hasanthika Sirisena. I have never read an essay collection before, but now I am thinking I should pick up a few more based on how much I am liking this one. I didn’t get the chance to pick up any of my physical TBR reads, so bummer! Also, I borrowed The Push by Ashley Audrain, which I am super excited to start reading ASAP!
