Happy Sunday, readers! Welcome to my Sunday Sum-Up!
This post marks one week of me living on my own in a completely new place with new people. Everything that goes with living solo came back to me like muscle memory, so I wasn’t floundering as much as I thought I would be. I met new people and visited new places. Hervey Bay is still so new to me but I am starting to realise the charm of this quiet, seaside town.
I have also been struggling with routines, like getting blog posts done on time and posting on my Bookstagram three times a week. I anticipate this juggling act getting tougher as I start working tomorrow, but I am hopeful I will fumble my way into a work-blog balance that’ll work for me!
One of the best things about being on my own is that I managed to get some good reading time into my routine. I finished reading Clean Air by Sarah Blake and I loved it, but I am still formulating how I wanna review this twisty sci-fi! In the meantime, I started When the World Turned Upside Down by K. Ibura, which is a middle-grade novel that focuses on the COVID-19 pandemic experience through the eyes of little ones. It is certainly a good read so far but I have another half of the book to go!
How was your week, readers? Did you manage to squeeze a little reading? Anything new and exciting?
