Happy Sunday, readers! Welcome to another Sunday Sum-Up!
I spent last week trying out a new workout routine. I returned to Lilly Sabri workouts after months away and I am surprised at how I kept up with her high-energy workouts for a week straight! I definitely feel stronger than I did a year ago and I am so proud about that! I find it difficult to always focus on the not-physical results of taking care of your body and exercising, so seeing improvements in strength and agility makes me feel absolutely great!
In bookish news, I have been slowly making my way through an eARC of Jade Fire Gold by June C.L. Tan and Ransom My Heart by Meg Cabot. I am loving them both so far but life commitments are not really letting me focus more time in the day to reading, so I am a bit upset I couldn’t make more progress with my reads. I will be picking up The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne by Jonathan Stroud soon since my blog tour spot is coming up fast next week. I also plan to start reading The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, which will be a buddy read with my cousin for October. It’s a new thing we’re trying out and I’m so excited to be actually buddy reading with someone who is family!
How has your week been? I hope you read some great books!

- Emily @ Ememmy reviews From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout
- Dini @ dinipandareads reviews The Goddess of Nothing At All by Cat Rector
- Raji @ Worlds Unlike Our Own reviews The Color of Dragons by R.A. Salvatore & Erika Lewis
- Haley @ Stuck In The Stacks reviews Vespertine by Margaret Rogerson
- Cait @ Cait’s Books reviews Storm and Fury by Jennifer L. Armentrout

- J @ Midnight Book Blog shares her research on stereotypes and books
- Sofii @ A Book. A Thought. recommends 20 spooky middle-grade reads, including 2021 releases
- Hayley @ On This I Ponder discusses whether she prefers book series or standalones
- Jana @ Honeycomb Library took part in The Sapphic Book Tag
- Skye @ The Quiet Pond lists some upcoming middle-grade fantasies & graphic novels to look out for

Gayani @ 4_point_one

I reviewed City of Shattered Light by Claire Winn, a debut sci-fi YA with space cowboys toting guns, queer found family & interplanetary heists!
I discussed about 3 character archetypes that I am getting tired of reading about in books!

And that’s it for this week’s Sunday Sum-Up! I hope you have a great week ahead!

Thanks for sharing my post, Hasini! That book deserves so much more attention and love
I’m looking forward to seeing your review for Jade, Fire, Gold and I’m looking forward to reading it (eventually lol)! I haven’t heard of the workouts that you’ve mentioned but I’ve been thinking lately how much I need to get my health together
Will checkout her workouts. Hope you have a great week ahead!
I hope you get to pick up JADE FIRE GOLD soon! Well worth the read!
OMG Lilly Sabri workouts will kick your butt!

I wish I could make myself start a workout routine, I just don’t know when I would do it during the day, lol.
I find myself working out late at night because I’ll be busy throughout the day but it’s a struggle, so I definitely understand what you mean!
