Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Ever since I read Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Wicked series and its spinoff, I have been obsessed with everything to do with New Orleans! Including Mardi Gras! This week’s prompt is inspired by Mardi Gras, which is apparently happening today!
Guys, this is on my travel bucket list! I dream of spending misty mornings in NOLA and walking down all the streets that Ivy did! I feel like such a nerd admitting this, but I am a huge sucker for this series and this is how obsessed I am!
- City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
- Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke
- Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
- Blubber by Judy Blume
- Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
- Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins
- Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
- Torn by Jennifer L. Armentrout
- Verity by Colleen Hoover
- Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
I love these colours! These covers are so beautiful! Also, this prompt gave me a good trip down memory lane since I had to scroll down to books I read waaaaay back!
Did you guys complete this week’s TTT prompt too? Leave a comment below and I’ll make sure to check out your fun collection!

I like the covers for “Isla” and “Lola”.
IKR! They’re some of my favourite covers!
I went to New Orleans a couple of years ago! It was so humid! I am glad to have been there now.
That’s great! Hopefully, I’ll manage to go there myself someday!
TTT is a really good excuse to spend some time thinking about books from a while ago. I’m often surprised to find books I’d forgotten about!
IKR! It’s a good exercise to refresh myself on books I have been planning on reading for years!
I had to go way back also! Here’s my TTT post:

Aw, I love that cover for Blubber! One of my favorite childhood books.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
To bad Stephanie Perkins didn’t have a book published in purple or you would have a trifecta of style and colors. Thanks for visiting.
IKR! I would love more covers like this series’!
Inkdeath has such a lovely cover!
