It has been forever since I did a post that wasn’t a book review on here, so this post should be a breath of fresh air at this point! I know it is for me!
2020 was an overall great year for me, bookish or otherwise. And despite all the unfortunate events (see that bookish pun?) that took place. And why was it a great year? I felt like grew a lot, I tried out new things, and I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. And I started my new WordPress blog! How can I call last year anything less than great?
P.S. I am being highly subjective and personal here, and talking about my experiences throughout last year. This doesn’t mean I expected everyone else to have a great time and no hard times fell on anyone. We came face-to-face with a pandemic – there is no way that was ‘great’ for everyone affected.
Now, I am excited about 2021! I got a great planner for this year and all I need now are my upcoming book releases!
All the 2021 release that I am interested in are series continuations. These are books that I am really excited about and will definitely end up reading at some point in time.
So why no standalones? I hardly get excited for standalones unless it is an author that I really love. Almost all standalones that I have bought are usually through bookstagram recommendations or impulse buys. Is that weird?
Anywho, how good is 2021 looking for us bookish people so far? I joined FB spoiler groups for some of these series and the teasers are killing me right now!
