Books with Colors In the Titles: Top Ten Tuesday

Books with Colors In the Titles: Top Ten Tuesday

I’m joining in on this fun ride and today’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is ‘Books with Colors In the Titles’. Isn’t that such a cool prompt? I love this because I can share all the pretty rainbow books that I have read so far!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

There are plenty of books with colourful titles but I decided that I will share only books that I have read. Personally, I think I have many ‘less hyped’ books because of how much I used to borrow from my high school library, so hopefully, you guys decide to check some of these books out yourself!

Punk 57 book cover

How can I not add Punk 57 to this list? I was always enamoured by this rich cover because the colours go so well together! It doesn’t look all rainbows and unicorns either; it suits the book so well!

The Scorch Trials book cover

The Scorch Trials has my favourite cover out of the trilogy! It’s such a stunner and I always appreciate a book with a standout cover on my shelves!

Blubber book cover

I read Blubber around five years back and I still remember how amazing this cover is!

The Demon's Lexicon book cover

I read The Demon’s Lexicon years back and I loved it, but I didn’t end up reading the rest of the series, which is a damn shame. But I might reread the whole series since I’ve bought almost the whole thing!

The Nixie's Song book cover

Who else here is a Spiderwick fan? I was obsessed with these books and I loved the movie. What I loved the most was how beautiful the books are! Technically, there isn’t much colour in the title, but there are these banners that give the title plenty of oomph!

Do you guys have some books you want to share as well? You can comment below with your recommendations or leave a link to your post below!

  1. These covers are so colorful and I love it! I’ve actually never read Spiderwick. I got them for my daughter when she was younger, and I could never convince her to read them with me, so neither of us ended up reading them haha. I love the cover for The Demon’s Lexicon!

    1. They’re the prettiest books ever! The illustrations are so good and the faeries are so creative!
