I’ll be linking up this book haul with Stacking The Shelves. Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. For the last few years, it’s been co-hosted at Team Tynga’s and at Reading Reality. Reading Reality became the one and only host of Stacking the Shelves when Team Tynga’s Reviews closed its virtual doors in 2021.
It’s another monthly book haul! Am I actually sticking to a monthly tradition? Slow clap to me, folks! I feel like I am finally nailing this scheduling posts stuff!
Physical copy purchases:
As always, I managed to keep my physical book buying to a minimum, and I got this secondhand copy of Homo Deus for such an amazing price from @booksforcharitylk on Instagram.
Digital copy purchases:
In a surprising feat of self-control, I didn’t go crazy on all the free Kindle books and instead settled on these three purchases! I am a huge sucker for anything Rachel Grant after reading her Dangerous Ground, so I grabbed Dangerous As Sin and Night Owl as soon as I saw them. I have been hearing a bit about the Moo U series, so when the first book Blindsided went on sale, I grabbed that too. A few last-minute free grabs on Kindle were Blacklist by Geneva Lee (a dark adult romance), Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe and Neighbors Like That by Carina Taylor, a more light-hearted adult romance.
Digital copies gifted:
This month’s pick for Romance Read Club was The Kingmaker by Kennedy Ryan. I am completely new to her books, so I have no idea what to expect but the reviews sounded promising!
Review copies received:
I am so excited and slightly nervous at the number of blog tours I am getting approved for LOL! I got requested by the author to read her nonfiction book The Secrets of Plants in the Environment, so I am excited to get to that. I got approved for three different book tours so far: The Break a Covenant by Alison Ames, Pahua and the Soul Stealer by Lori M. Lee, and Battle Dragons: City of Thieves by Alex London! They all sound so amazing and I can’t wait to start reading each of them!
How many books did you buy this month? Any new books you can’t wait to read?

Awesome book haul, Hasini! I bought way too many books this month, I don’t even want to count them, lol. Congrats on your blog tours! I look forward to your reviews😁
Thanks, Tammy! I loved your haul too! Your book buys were all so pretty!
